Joseph Luff

Joe is a self-taught lighting technician and designer with a deep passion for creating atmosphere and storytelling through light. Since 2016, he has worked across a wide spectrum of theatre productions, festivals, and live events, gaining extensive hands-on experience in technical, design, and crew roles.

Known for his collaborative approach, keen problem-solving skills, and meticulous technical set-ups, Joe adapts to every new challenge—whether working with student performers, touring productions, or on unique projects like filmed theatre showcases. He actively pursues new creative techniques and technologies, bringing a dynamic visual experience to every project he undertakes.

Joe also contributes his expertise at the Guildford School of Acting, where he teaches, mentors, and supervises students, helping them develop the skills and techniques required for a career in the professional world.
